The White Pine

The White Pine is a dense, full tree that has soft, blue green needles. This tree has a pleasant pine scent and decorates well with lightweight ornaments.

Pine Mountain Tree Farm has thousands of fresh trees ready to cut. We provide saws for cutting your own tree or if you would like, we'll cut it for you. We offer fresh wreaths, 15 gallon potted trees, pre-cut Fraser Fir trees and White Pine, one of five types of fresh trees ready to be cut. Others include:

- Leyland Cypress is one of the most popular trees grown in the South for Christmas trees. This tree drops very few needles and with proper care, will easily stay fresh through the entire Christmas season. In addition to being a beautiful tree with soft foliage, it is grown from cuttings and does not produce pollen; therefore enabling many asthma suffers to enjoy a real tree in their home.

- Murray Cypress is a variety of the Leyland Cypress. This tree drops very few needles and with proper care, will easily stay fresh through the entire Christmas season. In addition to being a beautiful tree with soft foliage and a lemon mint aroma, it is grown from cuttings and does not produce pollen; therefore enabling many asthma suffers to enjoy a real tree in their home.

- Red Cedar is the traditional native Christmas tree of the South. It has a wonderful cedar aroma and the foliage is quite dense but sometimes prickly. Due to its tendency to dry out even in water stands, it is recommended not cutting this tree until two to three weeks before Christmas.

- Carolina Sapphire has a natural Christmas tree shape. Tree shaping allows the toughening of branches and makes them stronger for holding ornaments. The tree has a natural blue-green color and a pleasing citrus-like aroma. The leaves are actually small scales lying along the branch surface.

Prices: $30 and up depending on height and fullness
